An Illustrious Journey
Born as the eldest in a family of ten, Dr. Herr's leadership qualities shone early. He was not only the valedictorian of his high school but also served as the student body president during his high school and college years. After obtaining a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from Fresno State University and successfully running several businesses, his passion for learning led him back to academia. His pursuit of excellence culminated in a Doctor of Dental Surgery (D.D.S) from the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry.
Commitment Beyond the Clinic
Dr. Herr's dedication extends beyond the confines of his clinic. During his time in dental school, he volunteered at several non-profit organizations, including the Union Gospel Mission and the American Dental Association's Give Kids a Smile program. His commitment to serving the community also took him to the Cass Lake Indian Reservation in northern Minnesota. After graduation, he furthered his mission to serve by working in an all-Medicaid dental clinic in southern Minnesota.
Continuous Learning and Achievements
To ensure his patients receive the best care, Dr. Herr continually updates his knowledge. He's an active member of esteemed organizations like the American Dental Association, The Academy of General Dentistry, Georgia Dental Association, and the Northern District Dental Society. His dedication to learning led him to complete a rigorous 7-month training on dental implants at the Triangle Dental Institute in Durham, North Carolina. Recognizing his expertise, he was honored as a Fellow at the International Congress of Oral Implantologist. Dr. Herr has most recently completed Advanced Dental Implant training through the Resnik Implant Institute.
A LifeBeyond Dentistry
Dr. Herr's life is a testament to strong family values and deep Christian faith. Married for 30 years, he and Mrs. Herr cherish their three beautiful children. When he's not transforming smiles, Dr. Herr enjoys camping, golfing, traveling, and making memories with his family.
